In order to get more accurate results, our search has the following Google-Type search functionality:
If you use '+' in front of a word, then that word will be present in the search results.
ex: Harry +Potter will return results with the word 'Potter'.
If you use '-' in front of a word, then that word will be absent in the search results.
ex: Harry -Potter will return results without the word 'Potter'.
If you use 'AND' between two words, then both of those words will be present in the search results.
ex: Harry AND Potter will return results with both 'Harry' and 'Potter'.
If you use 'OR' between two words, then bth of those words may or may not be present in the search results.
ex: Harry OR Potter will return results with just 'Harry', results with just 'Potter' and results with both 'Harry' and 'Potter'.
If you use 'NOT' before a word, then that word will be absent in the search results.
ex: Harry NOT Potter will return results without the word 'Potter'.
Placing '""' around words will perform a phrase search. The search results will contain those words in that order.
ex: "Harry Potter" will return any results with 'Harry Potter' in them, but not 'Potter Harry'.
Using '*' in a word will perform a wildcard search. The '*' signifies any number of characters. Searches can not start with a wildcard.
ex: Pot*er will return results with words starting with 'Pot' and ending in 'er'. In this case, 'Potter' will be a match.

It is a classic of its kind, exploring in depth the mysteries of male and female energies as perceived from the distant past to the present day. Singer writes powerfully from a lifetime of study and experience and takes the reader through different cultural disciplines associated with male-female polarity such as Taoism, Kabbalah, Tibetan Tantra, Alchemy, and the works of Plato, Jung and Freud - to select a few. Her book is lucidly written and, for the most part, easily accessible to the lay reader.
- man and Gyne - woman, have always been psychically within but, unfortunately, due to exterior pressures, conditioning and the fact of physical gender, have become very unbalanced. Instead of happily flowing back and forth between the polarities within our whole, true selves, we react as we have been taught and become rigid and unspontaneous. This is disastrous both on personal/sexual and universal levels as we are operating in a closed system - i.e. either/or instead of both/and.
the beginning were Love and Strife". These opposites provide the creative energy and opportunity to go within and find that point of balance which both transforms and transcends daily life.
as a single reading does not do justice to the brilliant way she has researched and written about this complex subject.
/>Reviewed by Rosemary Friend
pgs
and reviewer who is passionate about what lies beneath the surface of just about everything and is hence keen on mythology, history and psychology.
